As the din of battle dies, you take in the scene around you. You and your team have been pushing deeper into the facility and have been encountering other enemy bands also intent on unraveling the secrets left behind. Some sections contained entire warehouses of empty crates stacked together into makeshift towns, as if some group of people took up hasty residence here. Other rooms were full of archeotech in some sort of laboratory setup, the purpose and research of which is far beyond your understanding.
Some of the tech still hums with power, and your team salvaged what looked important as you moved through. All throughout the facility show signs of the ancient battle glimpsed outside, pockmarked metal, scraps of uniform that may have belonged to the local planetary defense force, but a lack of any corpses or blood marks that would usually be found.

Kill team moving towards the center, transport hold for withdrawal
The lights flicker at a steady interval as you travel towards the center, almost as if a gargantuan heart was beating and you found yourself within its veins. Emerging onto a viewing platform a glass wall shows the interior of this donut shaped facility. All around at different viewing decks, you spot other enemy operatives studying the scene as well. They look as you do, bloodied but unbroken. Looking downwards a yawning, dark crater stretches deep into the asteroid. Strings of work lights descend into the crater illuminating walkways and operational platforms that hold onto the walls of rock, leaving a large empty space in the middle. At the very bottom, a small platform with control consoles stands next to a large machine, resembling a horseshoe with the prongs pointed to the top of the crater.
Landing At the Station
As you watch, the machine vibrates with energy and a pulse emanates up from the bottom, causing the platforms on the rock to rumble and the lights to flicker as it passes. Watching as the pulse emanates upwards, you watch as asteroids in the path both flicker in and out of existence. Realizing the importance of the machine at the bottom, you know you and your team must secure its control. The other teams seem to also realize this as you all jump into action, heading towards the bottom of the crater, and hopefully towards domination in this sector.
